Face Light for WindLight

With WindLight viewer most of the face lights are useless. Thinking on this, June Dion from BareRose made a face light especially for the new viewer. This face light is free.
The package contains a helpful notecard and 4 differents face lights: a standart one, a night/sunset light, a noon light and a light for Rcmd.Set to include your own settings. Permissions are copy/mod/no transfer in all lights.

Brrrr...it's that time of year where more often than not I'd rather stay inside, curl up by the fire, and sip on some hot chocolate! But when I look out the window, see the glistening icicles, and the pristine perfection of the freshly fallen snow, I know it's time to bundle up and have some fun that can ONLY be had in the winter. So whether ice skating, sledding, or running from your car to the warmth of the mall, makes sure you don't forget your scarf! Tie it to the right, tie it to the left, wear it short or wrap it all the way around, the choices are yours for the taking! Check out a few of my favorites.

I slipped into my PixelDolls Bonney Dress in Citron and felt it needed accessories and I started adding things to the outfit. It's getting chilly and I put on the TaP Opaque Tights in Grey. The Tap Gloves are one of my favourite items in my inventory and I choose (Tap Gloves) Medium Black to match the outfit. My shoulders were still naked and I felt the cape from the =E.M.A= CAPE BLACK (outfit) was perfect for the outdoor party I was going to. With the cape attached to my chest, I needed a necklace to attach to the spine and the !BF! Lady Cameo Set (SILVER) - With Sautoir was perfect. Chapeau Tres Mignon has the cutest hats in SL and for my outfit I choose the Lagerfeld Headband. For shoes, I chose stilleto's: *SM* "Essential" Charcoal/White Stiletto.
The skin is the new Tap skin Dakota - TaP Vivant Buff Dakota 3. The hair is from Cake - Europa in Copper. The lashes are also from Cake - Bedroom lashes. And the eyes are from []::Tuli::[] - steel eyes.

Accessory is a legal term: It means a person who assists a criminal but is not present at the crime, according to the dictionary… But of course we have nothing to do with that. Our concern is fashion accessories which refer to items like jewelry, gloves, shoes, handbags, hats or scarves used to complement a fashion or style… Each new season, a fashion statement is announced. And the accessories take heed of that. Accessories can add detail to an outfit, modify the garment's style or the visual effects of its fabric. They also have practical functions: handbags are useful for carrying items; hats on the other hand protect the head from harsh conditions etc. All in all, they can polish off the outfit you wear or finish off the conceptual costume you prefer or just reflect your emotional state. Whatever the reason, costly or inexpensive, accessories are always a girl’s or boy’s best friend!

Objects of Desire

Maddie Camus is a very creative and industrious SL builder. She has partnered with Callie Cline this summer for her ::Home:: line. Some stylish prefab homes like The Villa and Love Shacks and eco & prim friendly, functional, modifiable "menu driven", and tintable furnitures and home decoration objects are displayed at the mainstore in Calliefornia. Maddie is also the owner of a small shop called Elysium, where you will find furniture like beach chairs, decks, pots, plants, wrought iron fences, couches, lamps, art works and art deco objects. Even pre-fab shops/cafes!

TV shows and fashion

I just finished watching the first series of Heroes. When I logged in SL tonight I had to slip into Claire's outfit by Refuge. I fell in love with this outfit when it was released but now, after watching the episodes, I love it even more.
For the guys, there's also Peter's jacket, Sylar's jacket and Peter's hair at Sinistyle.
Btw, there was an outfit worn by Nikki/Jessica in last episode that is awesome...

Carnival of Doom, Last Ride of Your Life!

A new sim created by Rezzable, Carnival of Doom, opened in SL on 31st October, Wednesday. Having suffered lag and low connection pains on the opening night, I revisited the sim the second day. And in the morning 6673 people already had dropped by.
Rezzable, as you may know, has been developing SL entertainment zones in one of the largest continuous public areas in SL (30 sims) and is the creator of Greenies Home, Toxic Garden, Surfline SL Experience, at the Cannery, Crimson Shadow and legendary Stratos Home of the all Metaverse Sportscar.
When you get to the sim of Carnival of Doom, you have to click on the poster at the front or side of the ticket booth and get a ticket. First you receive a HUD which you have to wear, for the HUD is used to communicate with rides and other interactive elements of the region. After attaching the HUD your ticket appears on upper right corner of your screen and acts as a “health/life” status monitor. It starts at 100, if your health hits 0, you die! And when you "die", you are transported to a special area and held there until you "regenerate" and get back to 100! The time and amount of regeneration is not fast. Any attempts to leave the regeneration area results in you being pulled back. So there is no way out! No TP’ying home!
Well, I first got on the Carousel, went through Hell, passed through the Hall of Mirrors and escaped from Hell! Lost 6 points off my health but there was no real damage… And there are many ways to receive damage here! In order not to spoil the fun, I will not give you any information but I did go through fits of vomiting with my health decreasing to 40’s… Walked on the grounds. Tried my hand at the Strength Hammer where the night before I had witnessed Callie Cline hit 200 and win a “tortured bear.” No hope… So I went to the Misfortune Teller. Guess what! All the cards I clicked heralded the misfortunes on my way… Nevertheless, I had loads of fun at Carnival of Doom! Ebuddy Rezzable 184, 69, 26
